Some of the now much-discussed benefits of developing a mindful meditation practice speak directly to some of the biggest challenges that face us as coaches in serving our clients in the most helpful way, consistently. Benefits such as an enhanced ability to be present, calm and focused and having an increased sense of connection, empathy and compassion are at the core of good coaching. Many coaches report that developing a mindfulness practice has had more impact on their coaching and facilitation work than any other self-development they have done.
When you look at this list of benefits and add to it those connected with general health and wellbeing, it is also apparent that mindfulness can impact many aspects of your life. As such, it can also be hugely helpful to some clients, whether that means helping them to become more grounded and connected as a leader or coping better with vast workloads and stress.
In this course we will explore in more depth the benefits that becoming more mindful can bring to your coaching, and also when and how you might introduce mindfulness to clients.
Most importantly, mindfulness is practice not theory, and in order to really begin to understand what it is ‘to be mindful’, it is necessary to experience it – not just talk (or read) about it.

Gentle mindful movement and relaxation
Mindfulness meditation practice, including cultivating kindliness towards yourself and empathy for others
understand the neuropsychology and benefits of a mindfulness practice
learn techniques for presence, grounding and centring as coach
develop a sense of how mindfulness might benefit your practice as a coach

This is only an approximate figure and is dependent upon how much time you can dedicate to your studies and how well you grasp the learning concepts in the course material.
The approximate amount of time required to complete the course is: 150 hr

Whats Included in the Online Course:

Full e-course materials including an e-manual, e-books

Full support is offered throughout the course which includes an assigned / dedicated tutor. This course also includes email support.

We also offer all students doing the home study training the opportunity to come along to our monthly best practice groups in Manchester at no extra cost. This greatly enhances learning.

The monthly support groups are free for all students and give you the opportunity to see live demonstrations of the techniques and skills taught on the course. For those that can’t attend the events we also film these monthly sessions and email a copy to all students each month. The practice groups are optional and not essential for completing the course.

The online courses are assessed by a written assignment at the end of the course which consists of a question paper and written answers.

There is no time limit for completing the course, it can be studied in your own time at your own pace. Help and support is always available from the training centre team through out your training. This course will take you up to 150 hours to complete working from home.
Certification:
On completion of the course you will receive a Coaching Mentoring and Mindfulness in the Work Environment Certificate for completing the course issused by Vita Online Learning and Education
