Traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) was transformed by introducing mindfulness and acceptance principles, which arguably made it more effective and acceptable for more people. Two of these modalities are Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
